For Professionals

What is clinical supervision?

Clinical supervision is used in counseling, psychotherapy, and other disciplines where professionals are engaged in working with people. It consists of the clinician working regularly with another professional for skills training, case consultation, and clinical development in a structured way.

Robyn provides 60-minute sessions for RDNs and is available for single sessions or on-going supervision. As a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian-Supervisor, I help RDN’s and other disciplines with guidance on challenging cases, including eating disorders, medical nutrition therapy or starting a private practice.

If you are interested in working on your CEDRD certification, Robyn is an iaedp Approved Supervisor and would love to help support your efforts towards this honorable credential.

What is the purpose of clinical supervision?

The purpose of clinical supervision includes:

• Enhance the professional growth, confidence, and clinical skill of the clinician.
• To ensure the best possible care and improved outcomes for clients.
• Develop skills and knowledge from a seasoned RDN who has been in the field for 22 years.
